Practice Fees

At Calamvale Family Practice, we are committed to providing high-quality healthcare that is accessible, transparent, and fair. We are a mixed billing practice, which means some services are bulk billed while others may incur a private fee.
Our team will always advise you of any fees prior to your appointment wherever possible. Please don’t hesitate to contact reception if you have questions about billing or rebates.

Billing

Calamvale Family Practice is a mixed billing clinic. Bulk billing is available for:
Children under the age of 16 (Monday to Saturday)

Concession Card Holders, including Pension and Health Care Card holders (Monday to Friday)

DVA Gold Card holders

For all other patients, a private fee applies. Fees vary depending on the type and length of your consultation.
Please note that payment is required on the day of your appointment. Medicare rebates can be processed at the time of payment.

Private Health

Private health insurance does not cover standard GP consultations. However, some allied health services (such as physiotherapy or psychology) may be eligible for rebates through your private health fund.
Check with your provider for specific inclusions.

Telehealth

Telehealth consultations are available for eligible patients and may incur a fee depending on the appointment type. Medicare rebates may apply in certain circumstances.
Our reception team can guide you through telehealth eligibility and billing when you book.
